Reds' goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler has been selected by national team manager Joachim Löw for Germany's final two Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Germany have already qualified for the tournament next year, which will be held in Poland and the Ukraine, and have two games still to play. They first travel to Istanbul to play Turkey on October 7th, and then finish the qualifying campaign with a home fixture against Belgium in Düsseldorf on October 11th.

Zieler received his first call-up to the senior Germany squad for the game against Austria on September 2nd, which Germany won 6-2, although the Reds' stopper wasn't used on that occasion. In Joachim Löw's current squad he, along with Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Marco Reus, is the only player in the 24-man squad not to have been capped.
