Settling in quickly

96 manager Mirko Slomka said of the transfer, "I'm pleased we've been able to bring Mame in: he'll be a good alternative  for us in attack. the priority now is to integrate him into the team quickly, so he can be a help to us in the coming fixtures in the Bundesliga and the Europa League." Diouf joined Manchester United in 2009 from Norwegian side Molde FK. in the 2010/11 season he was loaned to Blackburn rovers, for whom he scored three goals in 26 appearances. This season he found his first team chances at Old Trafford limited, and made just three appearances in the first team, all of them coming in the Carling Cup.
