Numbers don't lie, so lets have a look at the statistics behind Hannover's season so far. Who has played the most this year? Who has the most assists? Who do the fans reckon has been the best player? You will find the answers here!

Goals: Schlaudraff on top
Jan Schlaudraff tops the Reds internal scoring charts at the halfway point this season with five goals to his name. His first in 96 colours came on the fourth matchday against Borussia Mönchengladbach, as he bagged a brace during the first win of the season for Dieter Hecking's side. Fan favourite Jiri Stajner comes in just behind on four goals, with Mikael Forssell is in third place with three efforts to his name.

Assists: Huszti shows his vision
But one shouldn't forget that for every goal there must be a provider, and so far this season the Reds' assist magyar has been Szabolcs Huszti. The 96 goalscorers have had reason to thank the Hungarian six times since August. With his precise corners and cutting passes he is a constant threat to opposition defences. Mikael Forssell takes second place with 4 assists, while midfield maestro Arnold Bruggink.

Time on pitch: "Schulle" most present
Despite the enforced chopping and changing thanks to the injury crisis, there have been a few near-constants in Dieter Hecking's side. Christian Schulz has been on the pitch for 1345 of the 1530 minutes of Bundesliga football this season. "Schulle" only missed out on the Leverkusen game, having suffered a groin injury. Szabolcs Huszti has completed just 18 minutes less (1327), with Hanno Balitsch third having played 1144 minutes.

Young talent: "Kocka" Rausch making waves
Even though he hasn't played quite as much as some other members of the squad, "Kocka" Rausch has still proved himself to be an important player for the Reds, despite being just 18 years old. Having made his Bundesliga debut last term Rausch hasn't missed a match since the sixth game of the season and has impressed the management and fans alike with his performances. "Kocka" has even gained international honours having been called up to the German under 19 side by coach Heiko Herrlich.
