It's now set in stone: Moritz Stoppelkamp will be playing for Hannover 96 in the coming season after he completed his transfer from 2. Bundesliga side Rot-Weiß Oberhausen.

Nine Goals in the 2. Bundesliga

The 23-year old attacking midfielder, made his 2. Bundesliga debut during matchday 1 of the 2008/09 season when he played 42 league matches for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen scoring 9 goals. His professional career began in 2005 at Rot-Weiß Essen. He has also played for Rot-Weiß Erfurt before making his move from Oberhausen to Hannover 96.

Stoppelkamp has put pen to paper on a contract running until 2013 and following the transfers of Lars Stindl (from Karlsruher SC) and Keeper Ron-Robert Zieler (Manchester United) is Hannover's third signing so far.

We wish Moritz Stoppelkamp a successful time with Hannover 96.
