NIEMALSALLEIN

It has finally been sealed: Hannover 96 has today signed another striker: Mohammed Abdellaoue makes the move to Niedersachsen from Norwegian club Vålerenga IF in Oslo.

Handed the number 25 shirt
The 24-year-old won the Norwegian Landespokal in 2008 with Vålerenga IF. He has scored 30 goals in 67 appearances for the Oslo club and has been handed the number 25 shirt.

”I am absolutely delighted that, after extensive negotiations, the transfer has been completed”, said 96-manager Mirko Slomka. “Mohammed is quick and extremely dangerous in front of goal.”

”Score goals instead of promising them”
”We have been interested in Mohammed for a long time, and are happy that all of our hard work has now paid off”, explained 96-Director of Sport Jörg Schmadtke. “His goalscoring record speaks for itself.”

Abdellaoue is looking forward to his new challenge: “For me, Hannover 96 is a massive club. I want to help the club win things. I don’t want to promise goals; I want to score them.”
