Surprise victory for Norwegians against Portugal
With the help of our striker, Mohammed Abdellaoue, Norway were able to emerge from their contest with Portugal with a victory. That win put the Norwegian side to the top of group H in qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament.

Austria with last-minute victory over Kazakhstan
Central defender Emanuel Pogatetz  played his part as Austria grabbed all three points in the dying minutes against Kazakhstan. The game ended 2:0 to the Austrians, with goals coming in the first and fourth minute of added time in the second half. Pogatetz and his fellow defenders played well to maintain a clean sheet for their side.

Finland go down to Holland
Our Finnish striker took part in the game for Finland as they lose 1:2 to Holland in group E. That result makes it two defeats in a row for Forssell’s side, and they will need to hope their form improves if they are to qualify for the tournament in Ukraine and Poland.

U21s flourish against Northern Ireland
Konstantin Rausch played for the German U21 side as they cantered to a 3:0 victory over Northern Ireland. He played the full 90 minutes as his side brushed aside their opponents.
