Freiburg's Roman Bürki speaks about his performances this season, the upcoming game against Hannover and his wishes for next season.

Roman, your first Bundesliga season is nearly over. Have you enjoyed it?

Roman Bürki: "The Bundesliga is one of the best league's in Europe. The grounds are nearly always full and the game is played to a high level. Playing here is fun."

How would you summarise your performances this season?

Roman Bürki: "It's difficult to say. The coaches analyse the games and then I chat with our goalkeeper coach Andreas Kronenberg. We work on the details. Joining Freiburg was the right decision. I have developed here."

You were praised for your performance against Bayern. Does this give you a boost ahead of the next game?

Roman Bürki: "We all played well against Bayern, which gives us confidence ahead of the final game. Last weekend showed that we can perform well against the best sides."

Six teams could still go down. What are your thoughts on the situation?

Roman Bürki: "It's a tight league, which is why it is so exciting. All six teams will be hoping to retain their spot in the Bundesliga. We've put ourselves in a good position."

The game against Hannover promises to be a cracker. What sort of game are you expecting in the HDI Arena?

Roman Bürki: "We let a two goal lead slip against them earlier this season. We want to improve on that this time around. It won't be easy as it is a crucial game for both sides."
