"Moa" celebrating his success: Life is on the up and up for 96 centre forward Mohammed Abdellaoue. After making his move to Hannover 96 this summer and forming an incredible partnership up front with Didier Ya Konan, the Norwegian international has been named as Player of the Year in the Norwegian Tippeligaen, capping off an excellent end to 2010.

Inspired performances

The presentation was made inside Oslo's Grand Hotel on Sunday as part of the league's end of season celebrations. The Norwegian international who has Moroccan roots, impressed the panel with his incredible level of performance during his time in the Norway's top league and was recognised by the majority as the most prominent Player of the Year. "Moa" made his move to Hannover 96 in August of this year having scored 15 goals in 20 appearances for Vålerenga IF during the 2009/10 season, his third at the club having moved there at the age of 22. Following his summer move "Moa" has made himself an instant favourite inside the AWD-Arena having played a huge role in the Reds' early season success, scoring 4 goals in the process and forming a formidable partnership up front with Didier Ya Konan.

Having received his award from Blackburn's Morten Gamst Pedersen we want to send our congratulations to "Moa" for his outstanding achievement.
