Reason for celebration ahead of the international break: Eight Hannover players have received call-ups for their respective national teams.

Zieler in DFB squad
Joachim Löw has kept faith in 96 goal keeper Ron-Robert Zieler, including him in the squad for the upcoming internationals. Following their triumph in the 2014 World Cup, Germany will continue their quest to qualify for the 2016 European Championship. The team have already recorded victories over Scotland and Gibraltar, drawn with Ireland and suffered defeat at the hands of Poland. They will now be looking to take all three points when they play against Georgia on the 29th March. The team will test themselves against Australia before then on the 25th March and will come up against BVB’S Mitchell Langerak and Leverkusen’s Robbie Kruse. Midfielder Leonardo Bittencourt has been named in Germany’s U21 squad for the friendlies against Italy and England. Timo Königsmann has also recieved a call-up to the U18 team by manager Guido Streichbier. The U18s will travel to France and face their hosts twice.

World Champion Ron-Robert Zieler has been selected again for the Germany squad for the upcoming internationals

Sakai included again
The international break will be especially exciting for Chile’s Miiko Albornoz. His team will not only face Iran, but will also come up against 2014 World Cup hosts Brazil at the end of March. Hiroshi Kzyotake and Hiroki Sakai are both looking forward to being in action for Japan, a squad which includes seven other players who ply their trade in the Bundesliga, against Tunisia and Uzbekistan. It’s especially good news for Sakai, who wasn’t included in the Japan squad for the Asian Cup. While Salif Sané and his Senegal teammates will take on Ghana, Robert Almer will join up with the Austria squad for matches against Liechtenstein and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
