NIEMALSALLEIN

Under 21 international Florian Fromlowitz will be joining Hannover 96 in the summer from 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The 21 year old goalkeeper has signed a three year contract.

Hochstätter: “Fits our transfer policy”

Shortly after completing the deal Fromlowitz had this to say: “I’m looking forward to the challenge. 96 made it clear how much they wanted me, and that was one of the reasons I signed here. It’s a chance for me to develop even further.” Director of football Christian Hochstätter sees the capture of the young goalkeeper as another building block in Hannover’s development. “This is exactly the kind of deal that Dieter Hecking and I want to have as part of our transfer policy at Hannover 96. In Florian we are getting another young player with a lot of potential.”

34 national caps at school-boy and youth level

Florian Fromlowitz played at every age group as he came through the ranks at 1. FC Kaiserslautern, collecting 34 caps for Germany’s youth sides (including 8 for the under 21s) in the process. He has made 12 appearances for the “Red Devils” in the 1st Bundesliga. In October last year the keeper tore his cruciate ligament thus ending his season, but he has passed his medical with 96 team doctor Dr. Wego Kregehr.
