Preseason friendlies are over for Hannover 96, but during the season the Reds will also be involved in two friendlies. Games against OSV Hannover and TSV Barsinghausen have now been arranged.
Match practise during international break
Over the course of the season there will always be Bundesliga-free weeks where players join their national sides for friendlies or qualifiers. During this time, it is tradition for teams to organise friendlies so that the players not involved on the international stage can stay in their rhythm. For exactly that reason, Hannover 96 have organised two friendlies.
OSV then Barsinghausen
On Thursday, September 5th the Reds will face sixth division OSV Hannover at 18:00 CET in Bothfeld Oststadtstadion. Exactly five weeks later, the Bundesliga side will be guests of TSV Barsinghausen. The seventh division team will host the Reds on Thursday, October 10th at 18:00 CET in the August-Wenzel Stadium.

Hannover 96 was established on 12th April 1896. In its long history, rich in tradition, the greatest successes have always come when the special bond between club and city, and between the club and its fans, was at its strongest. Because of that we have the club motto “NIEMALS ALLEIN” [‘Never Alone’]. The most glorious moments in the club’s history include winning the German championship in 1938 and 1954, as well as the Cup success of 1992. In their early days, 96 established themselves firmly in the Bundesliga. The stand out memories for the fans in recent years include the two seasons in the Europa league in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. In 2015/16 Hannover will compete in the Bundesliga for the 14th consecutive season.

Hannover 96 a été fondé le 12 avril 1896. Sa riche histoire a été marquée de succès inoubliables rendus possibles par l’union sacrée entre le club et la ville ainsi qu’entre l’équipe et les supporters. Voilà pourquoi la devise du club est « JAMAIS SEULS ! » (« NIEMALS ALLEIN ! » en allemand).
