Hannover 96: 9000th member welcomed

The family of 96 members continues to grow! After welcoming the 7,777th, 8,000th and 8500th members at the Karlsruher SC match, the club were able to welcome members 8,888 and 9,000 before the last game of the season.

9,000 mark broken at Cottbus match
Members 8888 and 9000, Sebastian Naumann from Langenhagen and Stefan Bertram from Rinteln, are the new landmark members. They were both presented with a t-shirt with their name and member numbers on the pitch before the Cottbus game by 96’s chairman Valentin Schmidt, as well as an AWD mirror signed by the team, and a voucher for a weekend with a Mini-Cooper courtesy of HANNOVER HAUS.

Best in Niedersachsen
At the start of the year Hannover 96 became the largest sports club in Niedersachsen in terms of members, moving ahead of ASC Göttingen, who boast around 7,700. The number of members of sporting clubs in the Hannover region has risen by over 3,000 in the past twelve months from 97,062 to 100,433, largely due to our club, who account for 2,200 of this increase.
