The Reds have parted company with Bulgarian midfielder Chavdar Yankov, who recently spent time on loan at MSV Duisburg.

Yankov to Donetsk
Hannover 96 have sold their Bulgarien midfielder Chavdar Yankov to Ukrainian First Division outfit Metallurg Donetsk. Yankov, who was on loan at MSV Duisburg, made 66 first team appearances for Hannover 96 between 2005 and 2009, scoring six goals. He has amassed 31 international caps for Bulgaria, scoring five goals for his homeland.

MSV Duisburg allowed the 25-year-old to leave the club during the winter break in order to make the transfer possible. "Despite his obvious abilities, Chavdar was unable to make the breakthrough he had hoped for in German football," said 96 coach Andreas Bergmann. "There was no alternative in the end. We wish him all the best for the future."

We too wish 'Chak' all the best and plenty of success with his new club!
