Two Hamburg citizens with big hearts: Nicola zum Felde and Marcus Eisenberger have donated 7500 Euro to the Robert Enke Foundation.
Donations appreciated for anniversary
Nicola zum Felde and Marcus Eisenberger are genuine Hamburg citizens, but their hearts belong to the “Reds”. Their connection to Hannover 96 is incredibly strong, as demonstrated at their recent wedding. As the pair walked to the alter three months ago they asked guests to donate to the Robert Enke Foundation. The sum of the donations reached 7500 Euro.
Huge Enke fan
The Hamburg pair handed over the cheque to Foundation Managing Director Jan Baßler before the Reds’ first game of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt. “Our son Sören is a huge Enke fan”, said Eisenberger, who now needs to catch up with his wife on their honeymoon. Foundation board member and NFV President Karl Rothmund invited the pair to a weekend at the Sporthotel Fuchsbachtal in Barsinghausen.

Hannover 96 was established on 12th April 1896. In its long history, rich in tradition, the greatest successes have always come when the special bond between club and city, and between the club and its fans, was at its strongest. Because of that we have the club motto “NIEMALS ALLEIN” [‘Never Alone’]. The most glorious moments in the club’s history include winning the German championship in 1938 and 1954, as well as the Cup success of 1992. In their early days, 96 established themselves firmly in the Bundesliga. The stand out memories for the fans in recent years include the two seasons in the Europa league in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. In 2015/16 Hannover will compete in the Bundesliga for the 14th consecutive season.
