Just before the close of the transfer window on Monday it has been announced that Szabolcs Huszti will be leaving Hannover 96. The Hungarian international has moved to the Russian UEFA Cup holders Zenit St. Petersburg.

 

Lots of important goals
The midfielder joined the Reds in 2006 from FC Metz. 96 chairman Martin Kind explained: "Szabi Huszti has scored lots of important goals for our club in his three years here. We'll definitely miss him. But we didn't want to stand in the way of his personal ambiton."

Szabolcs Huszti recorded 17 goals in 86 appearances for Hannover 96.

The club would like to thank "Szabi" for some great moments and wishes him all the best at his new club!
