After more than a year of absence, Mame Diouf has been recalled to the Senegal national team.


Called up for Guinea friendly

Mame Diouf’s good performances have not gone unnoticed in his home country and as a result, after more than a year of absence, the 25-year-old has been recalled to the national squad. Diouf announced on German television yesterday that he had received the call up from national coach Alain Giresse and that he is looking forward to getting to the know the new manager. The friendly he has been called up for is on February 5th against Guinea and will take place in Paris. So far in his international career, Mame Diouf has played 13 games and scored three goals. His last appearance for Senegal dates back to August 20th 2011 in a 2-0 defeat to Morocco.
